Okay, I'm alive now. ^^ It's wierd... my brain is now wired to wake up at 7:30am, no matter what. It's kind of annoying, mostly because I don't have to get up till around 8:30am, and that hour in between is spent rolling around in bed trying to fall back asleep. In the area of "news people might actually care about, but probably don't", my parking ticket got voided. ^^ Turns out I can get 2 tickets voided during my stay at UCSC, and I just used my first. So, the $25 I was going to pay for that is going to buy a stool so I can actually sit at my drafting table. ^^

Heh, it probably means she's going to be sitting, more :P New rant! I wish more people used Macs. Price: Yeah, you pay a little more, sometimes. iMacs, PowerBooks, and PowerMacs are overpriced compared to comparable desktops and notebooks. iBooks, on the other hand, are sweet deals, at about 5 pounds with CDRW for $1,599, 1024x768, video out, and support for wireless networking. I guess the biggest drawback is game support. Not enough people buy Macs, so developers don't target Macs for games, so people decide not to buy Macs. Otherwise Macs are really nice machines. Hmm, perhaps soon the XBox can change that dynamic. Why buy a PC for games when you can own an XBox? Anyway, I suspect I won't be putting any more money into Microsoft's coffers, if I can avoid it. GameCube, PS2, Macs, and Linux, if I can at all help it. Of course... I may change my mind when Office 10 comes out. I hear it's the best Office out there, hands down...
