And so debuts a new character!
It's my stuffed cat, Orange. In "Real Life" (tm), I have about.. uh.. 30 of these stuffed cats. They're realllly adorable! =^.^= I've dubbed them all "Merle" after the character in Escaflowne. It started about 6 years ago when I found an orange one. I sewed a chibi felt shirt for her, the same kind Merle wears in the TV show, and put a little spot on it. Ever since then, I've been collecting these stuffies, ranging in colors from Grey, white, black, to mixes of orange and black or white. That's why I have 30 now =^.^= They're really hard to find and Russ Berrie doesn't make them anymore, so I feel lucky to have the ones I do =^.^=
Orange is one of the things in my life that keeps me.. er.. sane.. or relatively insane, I guess. It's through my stuffy that I can 'reach' the inner child and become a total goofball. Of course, this total goofball persona throws people off, and all my friends, including E-chan, think I'm an idiot =} But I don't mind being an idiot.. for now, no one needs or wants me to be anything else. So as long as I can keep people smiling and happy, why should I be serious about anything, unless I feel the need to be serious?
*yawn*
I'm probably gonna get up really late tomorrow, as shown in my comic. I have a bad work schedule =^^; I sometimes wonder if I'm anemic or iron deficient.. I'm always so tired =} Then again, it may be because I'm always doing so many things =}
Enough about me. I should let other people rant now. Bai!

Woo, another rant!
Just found out that Piro had taken down the Megatokyo forums. How sad that a handful of terrorists were able to shut down such a powerful community center. I'm not even talking about the WTC =(
So I've been thinking about the individuals who destroyed the WTC and part of the Pentagon; you 12, who hopefully believe in heaven and aren't there, took advantage of the American system in the fullest way possible, and in the process demonstrated both why this country is great and what it's biggest weaknesses are.
We are a land of many freedoms; the freedom to associate with the peers of your choice, to believe the thoughts you wish, and to live the life you choose. These men, some of them had full lives here, and we gave them that ability. We gave them the ability to enjoy fireworks, and taxes, and community swap meets, and public schools, and highways, and cheap gas, and exotic foods, and cable television, and DSL modems, and convenient ticketless travel, and they still tried to destroy us.
How sad.
Where else could someone just decide to get pilot training, or learn how to fly a Boeing aircraft? Not many places, I think. Or buy tickets online at good prices in a convenient manner? Where security would allow you a pocket knife and nary a background check, and the convenience of showing up only an hour before the flight to check in? *Yes, I know, the USA isn't the only place with these features*, but in using these features to attack us, you're trying to take away from us freedoms and a lifestyle that may not exist in many other places. I hope the US doesn't bow down to the terrorists and compromise it's foundations of freedom and liberty (I know, we're not perfect either). I bet most readers don't even know about the horrors of the DMCA, cryptographic backdoors, Carnifore/DSC1000, and net wiretapping...

Okay, I'm trying to move, so my rants are going to be short.
Young, I don't think you're an idiot, I just think your 6 years old. ^^ Since most of us here are about that age, it's not really a big deal. And remember, you passed the Merle disease on to me, I've got three of them. ^^
Okay, back to moving my crap to school... wish me luck...
