Woo! First Rant!

Gah, it's 12:30am and I'm tired. Anyway, we're all going to go see the Beauty and the Beast Broadway production this Wedsday! So that means Young will have to do his comic stuffs for Thursday today, on Tuesday.

Well, either that or he'll do it Thursday morning =)

Good night everyone!

[^Louis^] - 12:28 AM PDT

Dunno if I can in all fairness say 'Good morning'

It seems someone finally did it, they watched too many movies, had too much to drink, and flew planes into the two world trade towers and the Pentagon.

Who the heck would declare war on the US, now of all times? Do they not know we're sorta on the verge of a recession/depression? If you follow history, it's always been war that's helped us out of this kind of thing as unexpected military spending accelerates the US economy, taking up the slack left by consumers and the corporate sector. I'm not sure how serious I am, this is just a random though :(

Man. This is surreal this tops the HP-Compaq merger. This just blows... who needs a missle defense system when someone can just fly airplanes into our country and crash?

Edit: Apologies if I sound so cold. I'm too... rational. For those who make up our readership (do we get readers?), don't let this event, this horror, stop you from living your life, from collapsing in fear and stress. The terrorists win if we let them stop living our lives. If you have the opportunity, give blood today. A lot of people might be needing it today, or sometime soon.

[^Louis^] - 7:56 AM PDT

I woke up this morning to the words "...planes crashed into the trade center, and one into the pentagon." I thought I was having a bad dream, but I was awake.
I've been shaking most of the morning, and as I watched the 2nd Trade Center building collapse, I cried. I've never been so scared in my life.
Please, sometime today, take a moment and reflect on those who lost their lives today. God knows, I don't think I could think of anything else today.
And to the people who did this: If the only way for you to make your point is to kill thousands of innocent people, terrify millions, and earn the hatred of the world, then I hope when the United States finds you, they show you more mercy than you have shown the world, and they shoot you and put you out of the misery that is your life.
I apologize to anyone who is offended by my above statement, but I've watched too much at this point to feel anything but hatred of anyone who could think of this.

Today's original comic has been taken down and replaced with a moment of graphical silence in respect for the tragedies which happened at the World Trade Center buildings, the Pentagon, and any other acts of sadness which have occurred today.

If you are a religious person, I suggest you devote your hearts and your prayers to those hurt by this incident.

I know I am.

[^Young^] - 9:07 AM PDT

I think my brother's right. What happened was a tragedy.. but terrorists thrive on spreading terror and fear. If above all, if we are to defeat these terrorists, we cannot succumb to terror and fear because if we do, they've already won.

Take time to smile and be happy today, but in no way does that mean to take things for granted.. or to forget the tragedies that have happened. Just don't let fear and terror stop you from living your life.

[^Young^] - 10:40 AM PDT

First Rant/Post... Bad note to start on...

The events of today are tragic. In response to Louis's point, economics rarely have any bearing on terrorist attacks... I heard on the radio that today is the anniversary of the Camp David Accords, when the US started to initiate peace talks between Israel and Palestine. This seems more of a reason than anything.

I didn't get truly disgusted with things until I read this. The fact that anyone can celebrate the deaths of so many innocent people is horrendous. I can only hope that they do not fully understand the situation here...

Happy freaking Birthday to me....
