January 14, 2002 - Monday

I dunno, I've been really.. burnt out lately. I don't think there's any real particular reason, I just can't find the energy or the inspiration to do anything... filling. I don't get like this often. It's not like I'm sad or anything. I feel perfectly fine. I just can't find the energy to do something. I've been like this for a week.

Holy freaking sh*t. Check this out! Star Wars Episode II is gonna be released... on my birthday. Oh my god. Shoot me now. =>.<= I don't wanna spend my birthday revelling in publicity hype, consumerism at it's highest point with sell out Pretty-boy Bands, romancing with the 'hot guy' who was toilet jumping in Trainspotting, and clones. No offense to any of the ladies out there, but if you wanna gush all over a fictional guy.. or heck, even a real one.. just because he's cute.. make sure you realize how dumb that looks to the rest of us. =^.^= Oh.. and equally to all the guys out there. For christ's sake... Natalie Portman isn't hot! She's not! Really! It's makeup and wigs! And a dumb accent! Ok, rant mode off. I seriously hate hype though. And I really hate superficial movies. If I had a choice, after seeing Episode 1, I don't think I'm gonna watch Episode 2. Maybe for pure entertainment purposes if I'm bored and have nothing else to do.. but I don't think I'll see the movie for the movie.
