Good morning all. (I'm being a bad person and typing in my class :P )

Ota-Kon is right around the corner, I hope you all have the cool opportunity to go. I wont be able to assist Nekobox at this con due to the civic duty to watch over and teach many young Japanese girls the ways of America... :)

I work for San Jose State University for the S.A.L. (studies in american language) program as a tour coordinator and tutor for Japanese students from Reitaku and Osaka. This year we only have 25 students from osaka (compared to last years 55) because of all the international politics over the last two years. Its a fun job.

There's a variety of new product that will be avalible at Ota-Kon. Those who will be able to attend are in for a cool experience.

Have a great week, and remember summers almost over... make the best of it.

ARrrrrrggggg

I love people... don't get me wrong. But darn.
People keep jumping in front of me. (I'll admit itfs my fault but still.)
Some girl started crossing the street as I was going to school this morning and it scared the #$%& out of me. I didn't get close to her, so naturally she's ok. But still... DArn.

Ok. I'll leave that at that... if you want to read what happened, go to http://nekomachi.blackbird.nu/
August 5th post. (which is today. But if you read this a week from now you'll need to adjust)

The week continues. I struggle to finish Marketing homework and work for the Japanese students. I've been sun burned twice. Well, one and a half times. Yesterday when my students and I were on a campus scavenger hunt (try explaining what scavenger hunt is to a Japanese person some time. It's one heck of a head ache.) and I finally broke down and asked a student for some of her sun screen; I put a mess of it on and felt better about my skin.
A few minutes later I had a small group of girls giggling at me. Not knowing why, I pulled one of my cool male students over to the side and asked him what the deal was.
Well, the sunscreen lotion I had put on has small bits of glitter mixed into it. So I was rather shinny and sparkly for a good portion of the day. Kira Kira.

Last time I ask a girl for any health care products. It's too darn dangerous these days : )

Almost Ota-Kon. I hope everyone has a great time. Get little sleep, fill your brain with lots of stuff to tell us all when you get back and do what you can to have loads and loads of fun.

cool... enjoy your summer and stay cool.

Uh...are you typing with your keyboard on Japanese setting? I see these nice rectangles that are suppose to be apostrophes.

Meh, I got me own issue about people who cross the street when there's traffic. It seems more frequent now, especially in parking lots. I bet they do it to annoy drivers and waste their time. And they walk slowly too on purpose. Once, out of road rage, or what one of my buddies likes to say, being a jerk, cause I really was being a jerk that day cause I couldn't take it, there was this one dude crossing the street taking his time knowing that there was oncoming traffic. So I sped up hitting 60MPH in a 35MPH zone and nearly clipped him. He jumped out of the way. I felt good, but later on that day I felt bad and a big jerk.

Haha, this is kinda an awesome idea. If it were also an MP3 player, I think it would be perfect!
