I apologize once again for the lack of comicage... I made a realization a few days ago though. I'm not a webcomic person.

I guess the easiest way to explain it is... I'm an artist who happens to do a web comic... but I'm not a real webcomic person. Real webcomic people are devote to that singular expression of themselves. People like Fred from Megatokyo or Greg from Real Life... they devote themselves to their work and above all else, they have their comics.

Me, I'm an art person... above all else, I have my art. Sometimes, my comic falls to the side but that's because I use my time in other pursuits besides my comic. I guess that means why I'm never gonna become 'famous' or anything; it's because I don't have what it takes. ^_^

In the past year and a half, I've done the comic because it's fun... I'd like to continue to do so, but it's getting harder and harder to do so. When I had a job, I had a lot of material to work with... life had things it could throw at me to give me ideas. Now that I have no job, I'm stuck at home most of my days attempting to 'survive' and still produce my artwork. As time goes on, I find it harder and harder to come up with ideas and because I never started my comic with any 'real' story, my comic is an attempt at organized randomness, which at best, is amusing.

Anyway, soon, I'm gonna pass down my "comic torch" to Nats who has bravely volunteered to start doing the comic for me so I can spend my focus more on coding. I would like to get a game out soon... and I know if I can focus myself in that venue, I can. It might be tricky, seeing as I lack the money to keep myself alive at the moment for an extended period, but I hope any fans I have will stick around to see what game I can come up with and I hope they buy it when I'm done ^_^

Anyway, I'm gonna put up more pics of what I'm bringing to the SDCC this weekend to put in the art show, assuming they still have room for someone like me ^_^

I think that last rant needs a bit of clarification. In fact, I'd like to take this time to thank Barbara for all her support as a fan because she made me rethink my words and intentions ^_^

What I plan to do is not "quit" per se. I will still be doing the comic, hopefully I'd like to go back to 5 days a week. The thing is, I've run out of juice. Nats, however, has just re-entered the workforce and has plenty of juice in her to keep comic ideas flowing. As a result, I'm giving her full writing duties... she'll come up with the ideas and I'll merely move the vectors around as necessary ^_^ Nekobox will live on, I'll merely be the person behind the pencil.

I hope this also means more time for me to think about Otherworld. I hope this also means more time to code. I hope this means more time to draw. Those are three things I hope won't change.

Uh. Starting sometime next week. Doubtfully monday. Monday, I'll have some cool comic-con related stuff up. And no comic this Friday either. Friday is gonna have me.. uh.. in San Diego, not doing a comic ^_^

Ah, time... It passes way too quickly or way too slowly. And for some of us, we never seem to have enough of it. Common problem I think...

Anyone ever read Momo? By the same nifty dude who did the Neverending Story? Deals with what I mentioned above... Cool book.

It's weird. Once in a great while I'll get an e-mail about something I ranted about. Like about that SAP thingy, I got an e-mail today from some dude. Kewl. I guess people do read the rants. Anyway, about the SAP thing. I guess it can fall under the category about programming VCRs and stuff. Every single time when it day light savings or spending my folks are always on my ass about changing the freakin' time. I think there are some VCRs that do that for you but we got the ones that don't. Heck, same goes for the microwave oven, car clocks, kitchen oven and rice cooker. The reason my folks use that SAP feature is cause everynight when they watch KTSF 26 there are some show that allow you to hear it in Catonese and Mandarin. My folks who speak cantonese want to hear the shows in Cantonese. So far my father has figured out the setting on the SAP. My mother on the other hand is totally dyslexic when it comes to setting stuff on the TV. That's why I hate that thing sometimes cause I'll be in my room doin' stuff and she'll be like, "HEY KINGSLEY! HOW COME THE TV HAS NO SOUND!?", and I'll be like, "CAUSE THE SAP FEATURE IS ON!", and she'll be like, "HUH!?", and I'll be like, "YOU HAVE TO DISABLE THE SAP FEATURE!", and she'll be like, "HUH!? I DON'T UNDERSTAND! COME OUT HERE AND SHOW ME!", and I'll be like, "I SHOWED YOU YESTERDAY!", and she'll be like, "SHOW ME AGAIN! I FORGOT!", and I'll be like, "#@!?$%!!!" I gotta make sure that the thing resets itself. It's getting annoying. Heck, my mother is annoying. But you know what, I can't say that cause I got a mother and some poor fella out there don't have a mother cause their mothers got airborne and sucked into the engine of a 747. So I should count my friggin' blessings eventhough my mother gives me so much crap and stuff. I swear man! She does it intentionally so that my spirits will be low and I'll stay at home until I'm sixty and never have a girlfriend. ARGH! I'm so tempted to say that life sucks but I can't cause I got it good: two jobs, car, computer, bandwidth, food, pr0n, lots of pr0n!, bed, friends, Anime, money, bank account, asphalt, sidewalks, bike, air, water, all my limbs, my penis, my anus, AAAAUUUGGGHH!!! Life is so taunting at times. It's like you say, "Man! Life sucks! I wish I had yadda yadda...!, and then life is like, "But you should count your blessings cause you got yadda yadda..., and you're like, "But heck, life would be better with yadda yadda..., then life gives it to you but it's something else that you didn't expect and then you're like, "#@!$%!!!" Knowing this I bet something bad will happen to me tomorrow since I said life sucks. Like maybe I'll get hit by a car or like my penis will evaporate or I won't be able to take anymore dumps. And then life will be like, "See, you should appreciate what you have and not complain." So frustrating. I wish I requested days off to attend Comic Con. Next year.

Actually, sometimes I use the SAP feature to watch the Simpsons in Spanish.

Ya know, I just realized something. My Outlook Express got jacked up. It's like the page that it shows when the Outlook Express folder is selected looks the same but there's some new weird crap on it and the links are to some stupid search engine. I think some how adware got into my system and messed up my Outlook Express. Must be all that pr0n surfin'. Gotta disable javascripts.
