July 9, 2003 - Wednesday

Happy Birthday George! We spent the day with George and Amanda, met his mom and grandma, and his dad. We've been invited back to go shooting with his dad, or to talk gardening with the mom and grandma. They also have swimming pools! I got 5 or 6 maples (too many to actually remember) and a small oak tree. Now I have to wonder how to plant them... This should be interesting! I've been given several vanilla Japanese Maples and one Bloodgood. Anyway, I guess I'm announcing I've got several copies of Naze Nani Megatokyo Acen 2003 left (like 8 copies). It'll be $18 via PayPal (I accept credit) and shipped using USPS, and $22 via PayPal shipped using FedEx. I'll also be bringing about 50 copies to Otakon as well, if you want to get it for a flat $15. It's an hourlong video featuring Ken, Dom, Sarah, and Fred as they talk about Megatokyo and answer audience questions. I'm using the proceeds of these sales to fund my trip to Otakon, where I'll be filming the Otakon Naze Nani Megatokyo. I've been talking to Fred about making a double DVD set available to Megatokyo fans... but no details yet.

Yay! I finally revamped my storefront! For many reasons, the most prominent reason for the revamp is the fact I'm almost completely broke =;.;= My sales at cons have not been as bright as I'd have hoped, so, I've been forced to try and make more money online. In the store, you can now buy any print available in my gallery's later years as well as my CDs. Later this week, I have plans to start selling my images on shirts, both white and black. This is partially because CafePress is eating too much of my profits and partially because I have better control of the quality that way. Cafe Press shirts are notorious for fading and cracking after a few washes and wears but the shirts I've made haven't done that yet. I've had a pandagirl shirt I've worn since March and there doesn't seem to be any ill wear. I think it's because of my God Printer(tm). =} It's a wide format color printer that uses waterproof and UV resistant inks. Whee! So anyway, please support me! Or in a few months, I'll be very sad and have to live on the streets with my stuffies.
