December 6, 2002 - Friday

Well, many thanks to those few who've bought stuff from me on the Cafe Press store! It's not much, but I've gotten a few sales, so I'm pleasantly happy ^_^ Speaking of sales, the Girls of FF calendar is almost done! I plan to get it finished, though, I don't know if I'll have it done by Christmas.. =/ No worries though, I plan to make it a custom calendar so you can have whatever image you want on whatever month, from practically anything on my gallery! The calendar will be a full sized 11x11 inch calendar for $15 to $20 dollars and a single page 11x19 laminated calendar with dry erase marker for $10-$15. I'm still working out all the details, so stay tuned! In the meantime, Otherworld is making it's paces. I put up the site recently, though, I still haven't finished Chapter 1. That'll be released very soon, most likely by, if not before, this coming Monday! Sometimes I wonder if I'd be more popular if I whined more. =^.^= It seems like all popular webcomic artists.. like.. whine a lot. Or angst. Or act all snarky and make fun of everything or have some attitude.. Hmm.. nah, I'm not for any of that =^.^= I'm happy! ^_^ OKies, sorry for the random tangent.. back to your lives people ^_^

Today only, a 24 hour poll on TechTV's The ScreenSavers website: "Are you less likely to overthrow the government when surfing for porn?" based on research that determined that the Chinese government blocks a higher percentage of news and information sites than of porn sites. Just wanted to share, go vote (or not). =)

People who call in sick for work suck. You suck person who called in sick. You made me miss my gym and valuable creative time. Now I gotta stay up late in the middle of the night to draw and go to the gym longer to make up for today. You made my supervisor mad and my other supervisor mad cause my other supervisor got mad at my other supervisor for having to make a quick decision about calling me in or not and working overtime because you called in sick. I hope you were sick. Because if you weren't sick I'm gonna make sure the next time you call in sick that you're gonna be sick.

I'M DONE!!! ^^ Whee! I finished my finals for this quarter, and I now have the next 4 weeks free!! ... except for work, but really, that's not much. ^^ I'm beginning to think that I'm going to move back home for a week or two around christmas, and just commute from there. A 45 minute commute is an awful lot, but I want to spend some time at home with my family and friends. ^^ And speaking of Christmas, should I do another poem this year? I haven't had any inspiration yet (no Chinese class to daydream in ^^), but I'll see what I can put together. I can't think of a poem to mutilate to my purposes, so if anybody has any ideas, let me know. ^^
