Our friend Dom from Megatokyo, has just posted what I consider to be the most entertaining computer component review I have ever read in my life.
You can find it here. Scroll down to the i-duck review. ^^
(PS, the i-duck is waaaaaaaay too damn cute for it's own good. Had I money to waste, it would be mine. Also, notice the anatomically placed USB port. God, I love it, it's too funny. ^_^)
And since we're talking about exercise and health...
I stopped drinking soda regularly about 6 or 8 months ago, when I started my first job at Ewiz, and started doing some back exercises. I slimmed down a bit, which was okay.
Now, since I started at Google, I eat a healthy lunch (pasta, some sort of meat, bread, and fruit; and screw Atkins, it's a bunch of bullshit), I drink about 2-3 liters of water a day, and I jog/walk for about 45 minutes after work. I haven't lost a single pound, but damn, my pants fit gooood. I have leg muscles, and I feel healthy and happy. I have a single chin again! In other words, I haven't lost weight, but I have slimmed down a bit, and I feel better.
Whatever works. And for those of you thinking Atkins is the miracle diet, let me point out to you that cutting an essential dietary substance out of your diet completely is the stupidest thing you can do. And if you're exercising in anyway, it's going to hurt you bad in the end. Carbs are essential for muscle use, and by denying yourself carbs, you deny your muscles what they need to recover from any strenuous exercise you perform. Carbs are *healthy*, and it just comes down to 'everything in moderation', so if you eat a lot, cut back. But if you're not having any at all, eat a slice of bread, for Caviezel's sake.
*steps off the box she didn't realize she was on*
Sorry, go back to your daily duties... ^^
