I went to McDonalds before work and got me stuff from the dollar menu. I busted out my stack of ones that I accumulated from tips from work and pulled out three bucks. Going through the bills I noticed that one was odd looking. I looked at it carefully and found out that it was actually a bill from 1957. I kept that one and waited after work to check it out. It was pretty interesting. For one thing I noticed that instead of having a federal reserve note label it has a silver certificate label. Plus the treasury stamp is blue instead of green. Washington looks the same though. I checked the back but there didn't seem much of a difference. Looked pretty much the same. I'm not sure if it can be a conterfeit cause for a dollar bill from 1957 it's still in pretty good shape. But I'm gonna keep it some where safe and see if it has any value higher than a dollar. Anyway, if ya wanna check it out I've got a scan of it here. The bill on the bottom is the 1957 one. Just don't go making counterfeits.
