Uuugghhh.. I've been working a lot lately. I've been cleaning up manga scans for a book we're producing, and this is grueling work. It's the reason I have the borrowed drawing tablet on my PC that I used to make the previous Ed drawing. I've been working around 10 hours or more a day for the last few days trying to get it done. I'm getting drained.. thank goodness it's almost done.
To relieve the boredom after my large chunk of work a day on the aforementioned project, I've taken to reinstalling Quake 2 and blasting the crap out of imaginary beings. Aaahh.. I missed that so much. Once I get my new computer, I'll be wanting to play it on the net with friends! My PC is a little choppy with it right now.. and I know if I tried it online, it'd be really choppy trying to keep up with all the net data.
I used to be really good at these games, but I haven't played in so long. At least I still have the touch, quick turn, one shot with my super shotgun and aaahh... chunks flying in the air ^^; I love those quick reaction shots. I'm not too far into the game, but I've found a monster I really hate.. those things on four legs that run up and attach their 'tongue' to you and drain your health. Rrgh.. I hate them. But I just got the chaingun, so once I see one I unload 200 bullets into it and that's about all she wrote. There was also this HUUUGE monster at a computer just after a spiraling staircase with 3 glass windows along it. I have no idea what any of these monsters are called, but it also got all my chaingun bullets. That sucker hits hard, I didn't notice it hit me, but I looked at my hitpoints after it was dead and it was cut in half. Ow.. he went down fast too ^^;;
But anyway.. I'll stop ranting on a game that I'm sure no one really wants to hear about. I just love the first person shooter games. I also reinstalled Doom 2 =3 It all started there for me... I can't want to see the remake.
