Okay, E3 day one report. ^^
We got here around 1:30pm or so, and actually got to the con at 2ish, or so. We met up with Greg Dean, and proceeded to the console exhibit hall.
Oh My God. I swear, I've never been so impressed in my life. There was so much... stuff! I mean, the Sony Mecca (booth just isn't the right word, I mean the thing was *two stories tall*!) They had game demos everywhere, including Final Fantasy XI, and the new Britany Spears game... which I played. Shoot me. But it was actually hard... harder than Bust a Groove...
Anyway, they had so much stuff to look at, heck, the Army was even there demoing their new, Army- developed military game. The Nintendo Arena (it was seriously an arena) had GBA and GameCube demos and were giving away free GBA. ^^ I can't describe it all.
The PC hall was even bigger than the console hall, and I only saw half of it. EA games had a massive arena type booth, with a huge screen showing game demos (which were more like movie previews than anything), and they also showed a bit of a preview for Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, which was beautiful, and the game is gorgeous too. ^^ I also spent a lot of time at the Ragnarok Online booth, where they had cutegirls dressed as characters, and a giant, stuffed Poring. That was cool. They had a mini town set up, it was so cute. There was also a hobbit hole set up by another company *with real grass*! This place was amazing, and I didn't even see all of it. I'm so impressed so far, it's not even funny.
And I even got free swag. Sweet.
Okay, more tomorrow I hope. ^^
