If you don't know what drama I'm talking about, feel free to visit PvP, Rodney Caston's Page and I'm sure a plethora of web comics.

This is why I hate web comics. Not the people involved but the total and assinine lack of communication.

First off, you're dealing with a medium which is inherently lossy when it comes to data transmission. As Jon would put it, "That's ASS." Now, is that GOOD ass or BAD ass? Hmm... therein lies the flaw in web based communication.

Second, you have a bunch of people getting together trying to create something greater on said medium... usually for "fame" or "money"... which ultimately leads to disputes because of said communication problems. I know Fred in real life. I know Rodney in real life. I don't think EITHER has it in their genes to be mean or snarky. Yet, curiously, when online, something just doesn't click and they play this stupid cat/mouse game where they come up with some form of blame as to why Rodney left the comic.

It's just a comic, people! Life goes on... find new projects, do new things. There's no "Well, that ONE event ruined me forever and now..." no no no. Grr.

Thirdly, comics written on the internet should be primarily for fun. Sure, you can make money off it, sure you can be "famous". But you can do that doing anything else too. The internet is a "free" distribution medium meant to foster exploration and communication. Don't attribute it to anything else... it's meant to be a glorified modem.

Anyway, yes, in coming days, I plan to rework Nekobox's front page to reflect my new direction in projects. I don't know what that means for the comic itself... it's still up in the air.

Yays! Teh Young is back!

Man, that's some fucked up shit yo. Some people are unbeliveable as well as the things they get away with.

According to this, there are no countries in the world with names that start with the letter "X".

I think we should conquer some land and remedy that. :3

Heh.

Only fictional states, for instance... Xanth. Though, it still freaks me out that the "word" irregardless isn't a real word. Freaky.

That's ASS!

My other favorite Webcomic train wreck behavior...

Webcomic Groupies!

Kind of like con "personality" groupies...but like girls that seem to go from webcomic to webcomic dating the creators hoping for a little bit of that fame to rub off. It boggles my mind.

Woah...I just realized that the people I ordered eye chips from included a gluestick with the order.
Now that's service!

Not even the Ides of March, and today is sucking. I'm so sorry, there really isn't much I can do. People who panic and do rash things just to "do something"--or not to seem idle--are just stupid. Gah. >_<

You know how like in Diablo II when you completed a quest and you check your quest log and you see the quest icon go all swirly and glowy making that big bell noise? I kinda feel like that today.
