July 13, 2005 - Wednesday

Man, I wanna go to Comic Con but I didn't plan in time and I don't think I can take time off work. Besides, I've missed two days of work already cause of my darn ankle. It's getting better but I still don't know what the hell it was. They say it might be gout but I haven't heard anything from Kaiser. Ah, good old Kaiser. I see it as one of those milling hospitals where nothing is personal and they just treat you like a number. I have to constantly call them and ask questions otherwise I'd probably won't get any answers. I should switch to Pacific Care. Most of the doctors are from El Camino Hospital and most of the doctors are club members at the club I work at. Would've made more sense. Coming October I think I will change plans, that is if I'm still working there....which I probably will. I'm gonna try find me another job, even if it means forfeiting my benefits. As long as I don't injure myself or get any cavaties I should be fine. I'm holding myself back to much with my skillz. Don't fret Young. I'm not going to Comic Con either.

Yesterday car go smack. Was waiting at a red light, light turned green and I start going, kid runs red light and smacks into me. I'm fine as far as I can tell. Car is at the body shop for a couple weeks and Triple A gave me a rental. You can see more, larger pictures here. Heh, it was actually some guy in his folks Saturn going fishing with a friend (they had a fishing pole). Dunno if he just wasn't paying attention or what. The side airbag was interesting... didn't even know it had gone off until after I pulled over and wondered what the white thing next to me was. Sorry about the gout, man. Hopefully they can fix you up and you can be fully functional again soon.

Good lord! I'm glad you're OK Sean... this week just seems to be a bad solar flare week. I got a flat tire (escapes of which can be read on my livejournal) and poor Kingsley =/ I swear, something must be wrong with the universe. I sure hope Galacticus doesn't come knocking.

ugh. what a bad year for us. >_< I hope things are really okay for you. Yeah, that side airbag is funky lookin'. Did it do anything? Looks really small. July 14, 2005 - Thursday

I didn't actually realize the side airbag had gone off until I pulled over and wondered what the funky thing next to my arm was. ;) I guess it worked well enough... Oddly I kept thinking it was like a really rough roller coaster in the amount I got tossed around. The base of my neck has been sore all day but otherwise I'm fine. I'm going to call the doctor and see if he thinks I should be checked out or not tomorrow morning.
