Well, I won't lie to you. Recently, I've been feeling tired and uninspired. I've been doing this comic for the greater part of three years and I'm running out of steam. It's happening more and more lately, but it's unrelated to the comic because it's happening to me in real life too. I'll try my best to keep the comic updated three times a week though, but no guarantees. Especially around the holidays. ^_^ Why not go over to my gallery and check out the two new bodypaintings I did? Sometimes I think I don't have any readers and everyone's just leeching off my hosted art site anyhoo. ^_^

Wow, thanks for the kind words everyone. I'm glad I do have fans... I suppose I'm too used to web comic friends who have very vocal fans, often the kind that hate everything though. Thank you everyone for your kind words of encouragement. I feel a lot better ^_^

December 12, 2004 - Sunday

Ah, winter break is so close yet so far. I have three finals. For foundation I have to paint my final orb done in modulan with primer and some color of my choice. I did find one color that I liked that I saw on a VW Beetle. It was like a creamy blue green but more on the blue side and a bit desaturated but it really looked nice. For visualization I have to design three concepts for a 35mm camera with interchangeable lenses. Problem with this final is I don't really know when it's due because I lost the paper that listed the requirements of the final drawing. I guess I'm just gonna have to bust ass on Sunday night after work and finish it in case it's due on Monday. For art history I have a take home final which makes things easy. Just read the book and answer questions. Not bad for finals. At least I don't have to study anything. But still I can't relax because of work. Holiday seasons suck so much because of work. I won't really be able to relax until January. But even then I still have to keep on my toes on drawing so that I don't get lazy and get sloppy. Plus I have to touch up past projects for the portfolio review for next semester. I also have to create another portfolio to submit for any available internships. All this because I fucked up my life and went to Cogswell and fucked myself over with a shit degree and a whole lotta angst!!!! Yeah, fuckin' angst. Right now I'm listening to Linkin Park. HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Cause I'm angsty guy man! YARG! Fuck Cogswell!!!! CRAAAWWWWWLLLLLIINNNNGGG IIIINNNN MYYYYYYY SKKIIIIIINNNNN....!!!!! You know, there are two types of people. People who hate Linkin Park and people who like Linkin Park. Yeah, there songs do sound pretty much a like. Like if you play Pushing Me Away and Numb together you'll find those two songs are very similar. But I fall in the category of liking Linkin Park. I like Linkin Park. Flame me, call me a whiny angsty whiner. Come on! I know you wanna e-mail me and tell me how much Likin Park sucks! Go for it man. I've heard it all but I'm still gonna listen and buy there shit. Hmmmm...I should go to bed soon cause I do work at 11:00AM. Feh, I wish I didn't have to work. But then money is good and I hope to not have this job for too long. Need that internship soon! And give Young a fuckin' job man! Poor bastard needs health insurance and a respirator for all that body painting work. I'm gonna write to Santa and ask him to give Young a job. FUCK COGSWELL!!!! Seriously man. Anyone who's reading Nekobox and is planning to go or even looking to go to Cogswell, don't. Trust me. I've been raped. My ass is so gaping that I can't fart. I make goaste dude look like a skin pore. Let me tell you why. They're gonna accept any fucker who can or can't draw worth shit and belive me I saw application portfolios and most of that chicken scratch I saw made preschool drawings look like master pieces. Cogswell is small and desperate for students. They'll take anybody. Same goes with other places like Heald, ITT, Bryman, etc. These colleges just want your money. A real course is hard and rigorous and when you see that half of the students from the previous semester didn't get in the classes for next semester then that's a good sign. I mean, right now in ID at SJSU we started with 30 people in that class and now that number has been reduced to 15. So fuck Cogswell and all those other trade colleges that say they can get you a degree under four years and a job.

Young, do what you feel is right. I love the strip. Even if its pictures you post, you of all people know its just about the only thing I go online to check these days. But if you need to shut it down for a while, then we all support you man.
