Since I got to "wear" the Velma outfit finally! (yaaaaaay! Velma!) I thought I'd post a little something about meganeko, or "girls with glasses" (ph34r my poor translation skillz!) I know that Young and Jase have a warm little spot in their hearts for them...so here's a page with a listing of anime girls that wear glasses. Meganeko site! It might even help some of you in cosplaying ^_^

Hello all, The Alternative Press Expo in San Francisco this weekend, Feb 1st and 2nd WAS COOOOOOL. First, it's really inexpensive to go (6$ for one say, 10$ for both) and like there are LOADS and LOADS of comics to buy for like 50 cents or a dollar. And they're so cool. I found one of the best artists there, from Stripteasecomics, Chris Daily. Besides the fact that he's hella cool in person, his art is awesome. Check out his stuff! http://www.stripteasecomic.com So all the artists I meet their were like this; they were so nice and conversational. They didn't hesitate to stop and talk with you about everything from their art, other people's art and even life. I got the chance to meet a few of my other favorite artists there as well. Michael Vega and Diana Sprinkle from Ghostcircles were very nice. They talked with me about their work and other stuff. Take a second to check their site as well... http://www.ghostcircles.com The expo is only two days, so if you're close to San Francisco, the expo is where to be tomorrow. Ushicon is over, though I'm not back home yet. I get home late Monday. I hope my roomies remember I need to be picked up ^^; I'm writing from Houston Texas, and Louis will be proud of me, I'm writing from an iBook. Though I don't know the stats of it, so don't ask =P Anyway, I wrote a LOOOONG rant for what went on at Ushicon, and you can see that on my Live Journal. So go read all the craziness that happened around me, I'm certain you'll find it entertaining =3 I hope there have been more entries to the Bachelor since I've been away... I don't really have a way to get in touch with Natsuki, or anyone, from this location.. so I guess I wait until I get back. To those who did go to Ushicon, thanks a ton! I really appreciated those who screamed for Nekobox during cosplay and opening ceremonies. See you Texans at Akon! PS: See the chaos that happens with I leave? Nearly all the guys of Nekobox turn into streakers ^^; I'm just glad I was away, and didn't have to experience that first hand ^^;; I had enough craziness at the con.. but you can go read about that =3
