So, one major thing that I've learned since I've been here in China:

Mosquitos are of the Devil.

Yes, that's right, they are minions of Satan. They suck blood, pass disease, and are a general public nuisance.

Just like lawyers.

So, naturally, Mosquitos must also be evil beings of Lucifer.

I discovered this, incidentally, after getting bitten 5 times in the same area of my foot within a half hour. This is evil. Not to mention painful.

But luckily, the wonderful People of China have this lovely device that resembles a tennis racket. Only it's electrocuted. That's right, you swing it through the air and fry the little buggers. It's such a delightful sound too, the crackle of electricity as you zap them, and it's quite satisfying too.

Too bad I can never find the damn insects. Tiny little pests...

Hah ha! I've been saying mosquito's are a bain on existence for years.... since I was 10 in fact.

I kept my bites to a minimum during my short stay in China by hunting them in my room with the electric tennis racket of doom each night before going to bed. That was pretty effective and I managed to get away with about eight bites during my three week stay.

Our lucky, lucky father doesn't ever seem to get bitten for some reason. He attributes it to an excess of body hair.

Wow, Young is really poking fun at Jon now. =) Jon-sama is really so much like that, but it's cool. =) (He's a business major, not a techie like us.)

Anyways, if this follow Star Trek terminology, trilithium is some incredibly volatile by-product resulting from over-used abnormally reacted dilithium. Readily useable as a bomb with enormous yield, it's a popular choice among terrorists in the 24th century... which is why Starfleet takes very careful measures to contain it and maybe even break it down before disposing of it. So that's pretty serious if an "accident" occurs involving that.

...but then again, note the difference in spelling of the element, so don't take my word seriously. =)

Yes, this was posted on Friday (because i was late in reading this strip), but it applies to Thursday, ...and if everyone else else can tweak the posting time, then the author of the script and webmaster can do so, too. =)
