Hi everyone! ^^
We're in the middle of a huge thunderstorm over here in the People's Republic o'China. It's really pretty, the lightening is filling the sky, and it was pouring just a bit ago. It was actually a pretty severe little storm that popped out of nowhere, and downed a couple of trees. But it didn't do anything really terribly, and really cooled down the temperatures here, which were absolutly dreadful. So I got a wonderful light show, and everybody got some relief from the heat, so it all works out. ^^
My classes have been going well. I still can't speak worth a damn, but I have better handwriting... >_<
Oh, and just to let people know, Yahoo! has been acting up on me, and I'm having problems responding to my e-mail. So if I don't respond as soon as I usually do, don't worry, just blame Yahoo!.
Just for some quickie responses here that I need to make:
Christy: I'm not sure I got you're whole e-mail, it looked like hotmail cut off the end... I guess our "conversation" got too long. ^^
Dan: I got your e-mail, and I'll respond as soon as Yahoo! get's it's butt back in gear. Just till then: I felt right at home in the internet cafe in Taiwan, and the grocery stores are just like the ones in San Jose, only bigger. ^^ The only annoying thing is I can't shop anywhere without someone to translate for me, otherwise nothing gets done... >_<
Sean, Mom, Dad, and anyone who cares: Okay, I think I'm going to have to break down and ask for a care package... I came over with a bag of Riesin chocolates, and a bag of original flavored Goldfish... and I'm running out. I know I can't get them here, and they're probably the only things keeping me from being severely homesick. That, and they taste really bleeping good. ^^ Sean, could you pass the message on to Mom and Dad? Because you love me, your darling little sister? ^^ Tee hee? Thanks bro. ^^
Okay, campers, that's all from over the puddle. ^^
