December 19, 2001 - Wednesday

HAAA HA HA HA HA!!!!! As my friends put it... I'm insane. You can see the time I'm posting this from the timestamp. What you don't know is that I'm posting this from work... and I've been here for about three hours now. Went to see Lord of the Rings last night. There was a special 12:01 am showing. We watched the movie (about 3 hours) chatted for a bit and then we all left. I went to work. Heh heh. I like doing this every now and then. It breaks up the routine and freaks out my friends. The movie, by the way, is wonderful. The visuals are spectacular, the pacing is excellent, the story has been adapted very well, and Ian McKellen as Gandalf felt like perfection. Best moviegoing experience I've had in a while.

*YAWN* Yeah, I went to bed at, like, 5am this morning, and I think I got about 2 hours of decent sleep. But it was worth it. "Lord of the Rings" was everything Sean said about it, plus a box'o'chocolates. ^^ The visuals were beautiful, the acting made me terribly happy, and the story seemed pretty close to the book. I haven't finished reading the thing yet, so I'm not quite sure. ^^ Anyway, go see it. ^^ On another note, I got my copy of the Gold Digger OVA, the american animated manga I provided some of the voice acting for, and boy, is it... um... interesting. ^^ No, really, it's actually pretty good for being done by one person entirely on the computer. I'm terrbly happy about it right now, cause I read a few reviews about it, and a bunch of them said they liked my voice. ^^ *does happy little cartwheels around her room.* Anyway, go watch LOTR. ^^
