| A Great Insight into Pastry |
An observant person in my local anime club once posed this question:
What lies within melon bread?
I turn to thee, patrons of pastry, for the answer.

Really...it's like a sweet paste made with melon pulp and sugar and other fun stuff like that that gets baked into the middle of the bun.
There's also red-bean bread, various kinds of fruit bread, and other flavors like that.
And, if you're hungry at lunch-time, the swiss-cheese and ham breads are pretty good, too.

Well... er... from studying the human television documentaries, it also seems to be some kind bread with cookie dough as a crust. When baked, the bread remains soft and squishy while the crush becomes hard, like the rind of a melon.
This type of melon bread doesn't seem to contain any melon and is only named melon bread because of it's melon like qualities - soft interior and hard exterior shell.

hunh...I guess I ate something different.
It was pretty darn good, too.
But I'm still sorta partial to Milk-bread made with sweet condenced milk in the middle.
