Foreheads...
Please excuse my ignorance, but I have noticed many different girls (especially goddesses and other higher beings) with some kind of crest or emblem on their foreheads. I have to wonder, are they removable? Do they grant special powers? Are they really just fashionable guitar picks pasted on their foreheads? Are guys allowed to have them too? So many questions! But I'm really curious. Again, not to offend, but I just gotta know if someone just slapped guitar picks on Skuld and Karinka and Sasami and others. (Oh yeah, and do certain shapes symbolize certain status or powers?)

Horrible accident at a rock concert. A crate of plectrums for a Queen gig exploded, loads of people got that sort of injury.

They don't really like to talk about it. To be honest I think the survivors envy the dead.

Hahah...uhm...I don't think that's quite it, Onizuka-sensei, nice try though, but not believable. I was really just kinda asking if the crests really meant anything, the guitar pick was just a joke aimed at Steel Angel Karinka and the others...but mostly if the forehead ornaments give power or symbolize something. I mean, take Beldandy and Skuld, for instnace. They have things on their heads, and they are different shapes, but essentially in the same place. Is it used so that their mothers could tell them apart? Or does it have things to do with their powers? Ok, I'm done reiterating the redundant sentances now...
