So, if you looked like an idiot today, it would probaby do you well to hold off on contacting the fine little lady and saying, "Hi! Remember me when I make a complete @$$ of myself today?" I'm not saying leave her alone forever, get out of the country, and join a Benedictine monestary...just let things blow over for a little bit. After a couple days, if your friends aren't still ribbing you about it constantly (dunno how memorable it would really be), that would be a good time to start chatting her up again, (and here's the key) LIKE NOTHING EVER HAPPENED. If she brings it up...share a laugh...but don't be self-conscious about it. Getting defensive over something embarassing is like spilling blood in the water. Better to just treat it like no big deal.
