Vertix_Hell_Scribe Statement of Supreme Joy! It's been like forever (more like many months) since I've posted anything on this site, and I'm not really going for advice, but to make a statement of supreme joy for all the world to hear! Such statements not meant for mere forums, nay, such wonderful things are for things like this...thing... I have succeeded in planning the unthinkable! I, a man with such nerdiful life to only be lucky enough to have an Internet girlfriend of 5+ years has finally succeeded in inviting said girlfriend to travel approximately 900 miles to come to my prom!! The only slight downside is the fact that her mother is coming with her, but only a slight downside. The large downside is the fact that this is my first time meeting her in person! Now, yes, laugh, cry, feel sorry for me, make fun of me, but I am proud of my accomplishments! For years I have tried to see her face in person, instead of a darn webcam, and hear her whisper in my ear without using a telephone, and not need to pay postage to trade photos and pass a joint manga production effort back and forth. For finally, one weekend in the last weeks of my high school career, I will be with my love of many years and screen names. And it makes me make this face: ^_____^ And trust me on this; Long-distance Internet relationships can work! And, oh yeah, I've already gotten most of her parents blessings, and I'm placing a 90% bet that by the end of this summer she may be re-titled from girlfriend to fionce (darn, no accent mark for the e)!
