Sometimes you feel like you're being so obvious that it should be evident to ANYONE that you are madly head over heels for someone. And you don't care. Because you love them. But does anyone fricking notice? What, are people just unobservant? And the person deepest in the dark is always the object of your affection. When you see someone in an anime mimic a move you pulled on your proverbial "atashi dake no hito" and recognize it as such, you know you're being as obvious as a bull's eye on a white woman's ass. But no. Because you've pulled an anime move. Therefore, said "atashi dake no hito" also pulls one, though subconsiously. Ahh yes, the typical "Huh? No, of course [insert main character here] doesn't like me! Why ever would you think that?" And it's stupid. I hate it. It's true and I hate it. So... I guess my question is why people are stupid.

They say art mimics life... or perhaps life mimics art. In either case, the person you truly care for sometimes doesn't notice because love makes people blind. Or... love is blind. Or maybe both?

You could have very very strong feelings for a very special someone and no matter what you do, they just won't really miss you... well, not until you're long GONE anyway. Maybe six feet under or something. THEN of course, they realize they miss you. Or perhaps they just miss the cookies you baked or something.

Wow, I sure do miss Aerith's cookies.

People aren't really... stupid. I guess. They're just human. Some people deny the possibility that someone is in love with them because they're not sure how to respond to the feeling. Some of them aren't ready for a relationship but don't want to say it outright and hurt someone else's feelings. Some of them secretly yearn to be with someone else and just hope your feelings go away so that they can hook up with someone else.

Not that it was like that for me or anything.

Hypothetically speaking, anyway.

Hmmm? What was that about... "secretly yearning to be with someone else"?

And sometimes, people just want to have... you know... a choice. They don't like the idea of being stuck with one and only one person the rest of their lives.

Uh... what did you say?

What? I can't remember anymore...

Heh. Lover's quarrel.

Anyway, love takes odd routes and if it were "easy", it certainly wouldn't be worth it. Somethings are worth fighting for... love is one of them. It's certainly not a battle that can always be won. Sometimes, you can't control it and it tears you up inside... but in the end, everything always works itself out in one way or another.
