Hetzilla ahhh, I was trying to remember the oath but it seems I started it wrong, I find GL is one of the most unappreciated heros from DC and I think there were like three different Earth GLs right? Sagara Sousuke Not like I know or anything, but after doing a little research, it seems that DC comics has claimed a whole bunch of different Green Lanterns have come from Earth. The most famous of these were Hal Jordan (Silver Age, SuperFriends), Alan Scott (Golden Age), and John Stewart (Modern Age, Cartoon Network's Justice League). I suppose the new guy, Kyle Rayner (Current GL) should count as #4, and Guy Gardner has a rather (in)famous history as another GL from Earth. Oh, add to the list Jennie-Lynn Hayden (daughter of Alan Scott, s/o of Kyle Rayner, and former superheroine Jade), who has also been moonlighting as a GL lately. According to reports, there are many other GLs from Earth in both the past and future. But none were "main" characters in the storyline. Aliens have also protected the Earth as Green Lanterns of Sector 2814 (which includes Earth), the most famous of them being Abin Sur of Ungara, who, dying, passed on his ring to Hal Jordan.
