bakaneko @_@ epidemic! A good friend of mine, lets jes call him Wind, who I;ve known for a couple years! Suddenly has a prearranged marriage pop up causing him to be unable to be with my best friend!!! In the future when he's 16 or so, He's got to go to China to marry her!! @_@ he don't love her and well what can he do to get out of this? Are there any laws against it?or ANYTHING that he can do to get out of this FORCEd marriage?! Mizuho Kazami Arranged marriages aren't all that bad... it just depends if the person you're going to be attached to is... well... a good person at heart! It certainly makes it easier than dating, though, it's also a lot more responsibility and forces good communication by all parties... It just means you have to get him to talk to his parents and let them sort out the decision. Ultimately, there are a lot of choices... some as extreme as running away from home! But I think in this more modern era, if your friend talks to his parents, they can come to some agreement. bakaneko Well, actually his parents are pretty much jerks, since the inheritance from grand parents (did I mention rich?) all go to him when they're gone, NOTHING goes to his parents or any other relative because he's the eldest grand son. His family is pretty traditional, his father is pretty much a brat (believe me he almost threw the remote at Wind cuz Wind was in the way..) I know I'm an outsider and all, but is there ANY way to get him out of this arranged nuptial? because he doesn't want to marry a stranger when he has a gf! besides! I don't want my best friend to be sad! T.T! Is there anything that he can do?
