name that anime
Way back in either 6th or 7th grade I watched a subbed anime movie in class(kind of weird now that I think about it) but I can only remember images and the basic plot and not the name; the plot was that it occurs in some strange future Earth(or a simular planet) where there exists a vast wasteland full of poisonious plants well it's more of a deadly forest which is guarded by enormous insects which attack humans who invade the "wasteland", the main story is of a girl who lives in some sort town that uses the wind to filter out the poison of the plants so they can live in peace but a forgien kingdom invades hopeing to find something in the town called a God Soilder but another kingdom which is at war with that kingdom uses a baby bettle insect to lure a massive army of beetle insect from the waste land into the girl's village to destroy the rival kingdom's forces but the girl scarifices herself to save her village which fulfills soem prophesy that her village had; I know this might sound a bit confusing but that all I can remember from that movie and I would like to see it again so any help would be appreciated

My, this reminds me of the ancient story of the warrior maiden Nausicaa. Legend has it that this warrior maiden travelled the lands in a similar fashion to the way you have spoken, recounting similar adventures of heroism and tragedy.

I believe there are, in fact, many parts to this story not told, only left in bound parchment, waiting to be revealed. This is a journey you have to undertake yourself, my child... for it is for you to find out the rest of the story of Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.

Why... of course. That ring with the glowing stone in it... it's just a rock. It has no special powers. You probably think it makes you feel powerful, but honestly, you should just throw it away, it's worthless. And that really shiny sharp sword is cursed sword of death! You should also throw that away. Those items really have no worth whatsoever and I honestly don't think they're powerful items at all.

Nope, no power, whatsoever.

Not that I'd ever be bitter that no one stays a while to listen. Nope.
