Nameless_Chibi Spyware Alrighty, recently I've been getting hit by hundreds upon hundreds of little itty bits of Spyware warnings and Spyware installations. It's been really ticking me off. Granted I am part of a New Corporation... being the only reporter and such, doesn't help my pay, but either way. I really would like to know, what kind of programs do you all use to defend against new Spyware from coming in, and on this note whatever about the spyware that's already in your system what about them? Akagi Ritsuko Well, I am not the most computer-savy person on this list, but I do know a thing or two. While there are likely better anti-spyware programs on the market, I like to use Lavasoft's Ad-Aware. It offers a free version as well as free updates to block new types of spyware. One word of warning, though, you may want to read through the items it tags to be sure you want to delete the item, so it doesn't accidentally remove an item critical to your network software.
