If you don't like a persons personality, how can you find them likable?

It seems to me that there is not proper answer to that, since you can hardly have one without the other.

I think I know what spyke01's getting at.
You can have someone that is inoffensively likeable, but bland. Your sort of honey & oatmeal sort of boy/girl/friend.
Or you can have someone that is interesting to be with and you get a lot out of the relationship, but can be a bit abrasive, just does not get along with everybody, or has their ups and downs. Your sort of Thai curry sort of friend.
Dunno...I guess it really comes down to what you want out of the relationship. A more likeable person with less personality is the sort of person that is easy to get into a comfortable easy-going sort of relationship. A less likeable person with more personality is the sort of person that will lead to more sparks and flares, but likely more spites and flare-ups.
So, what are you more comfortable with?
