After Wily went 'insane' and became evil, I had to be converted to a fighting robot and thus, "Rockman" was born. Americans thought that was a dumb idea, so they changed my name to "Megaman". Rockman.EXE Originally, though, most of the main characters were named after musical types or influenced by music. Since I was the more action oriented main character, I was Rock and my sister was Roll. My brother, the more mysterious loner type was "Blues". Of course, "Blues" doesn't fit with "Megaman", so they made him "Protoman". Rockman.EXE My "arch nemisis" Bass and his dog Treble, though true to the theme, were originally named "Forte" and "Gospel". The only two characters who didn't change were my pets. Rush, my dog, and Beat, my bird. I even had a short lived cat named "Tango". Rockman.EXE So, to answer your question, my brother is both "Protoman" and "Blues".. it just depends on whether it's the American name or the Japanese name. prometheus I thought Zero was blues...
